The Knocked Up star will play Ronnie Barnhardt, a mall security guard who gets into a turf war with the local police.
The film, which will be written and directed by Jody Hill, begins shooting in April after Rogen finishes filming Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno.
Rogen will next be seen in Pineapple Express, which opens on September 26 in the UK.
