John Krasinski and Maya Rudolph will star in an untitled relationship comedy for British director Sam Mendes.

Curb Your Enthusiasm's Cheryl Hines will also feature in the film.

The comedy follows a couple who travel across the US looking to find a home and raise a family.

The script comes from Dave Eggers and wife Vendela Vida. Shooting begins next month in Connecticut.

Krasinski is known for playing Jim Halpert in the American version of The Office. He will soon be seen in the George Clooney-directed Leatherheads.

Rudolph has appeared in A Prairie Home Companion, Idiocracy and was a cast member on comedy show Saturday Night Live.
