The movie stars Jessica Biel as a small-town waitress who heads to Washington to fight for the rights of people with strange injuries after after a nail shot to her head makes her wildly impulsive.
She ends up falling for an immoral congressman (Jake Gyllenhaal), who must summon the political courage to save her. Marsden (Enchanted) will play her boyfriend and Keener (Into the Wild) a ruthless congresswoman. Morgan is likely to play one of Biel's injured friends, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie will be directed by David O. Russell from a script he co-wrote with Al Gore's daughter Kristen.
It is currently in preproduction in South Carolina.
