King first to join 'Bloody Valentine' remake

The movie is a remake of the low-budget 1981 slasher film about a murderer who stalks and kills his victims on Valentine's Day.
The actress is the first cast member to join the project, which will be directed by Patrick Lussier from a screenplay by Zane Smith.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, King (Pearl Harbour, Sin City) will play Sarah Palmer, a woman torn between her teenage sweetheart and his former best friend, who is also her husband and the father of her child.
The Lionsgate movie will start production in May and is scheduled for release next January.
