Lohan to play one of 'Manson Girls'

Lindsay Lohan has joined the cast of an upcoming movie about the Manson family.

Lindsay will play wealthy teenager Nancy Pitman, who ran away from home to become a follower of Charles Manson in the Brad Wyman-helmed Manson Girls.

Although Pitman did not take part in the group's two nights of murder in 1969, she later joined the Aryan Brotherhood and was convicted of being an accessory after the fact when a fellow member was killed.

Lohan can next be seen opposite Jared Leto in Chapter 27, which tells the story of John Lennon assassin Mark David Chapman.
