Daniel Craig has claimed he will play the role of James Bond for as long as he physically can.

The actor was previously rumoured to only want the part for three films after he made comments about making a trilogy of "the best movies possible" and going into "semi-retirement".

However, Craig now believes he could play 007 until his body starts causing him problems.

He told The Sun: "Until my joints go I will keep going as Bond. I have no intention of giving up just yet."

The Casino Royale star also played down rumours that Bond will get married in his next big screen outing.

Reports circulated that the spy would get hitched in Quantum of Solace after new Bond girl Gemma Arteton revealed that she had filmed scenes in a honeymoon suite.

Commenting on the speculation, Craig said: "You don't have to get married to go into a honeymoon suite and have a good time."
