De Niro, Barrymore join Italian drama remake

Sam Rockwell has also signed up for the movie, which will be directed by Kirk Jones (Waking Ned) from his own script, reports Variety.
The Miramax project is a remake of the acclaimed 1990 Italian film Stanno tutti bene.
De Niro will take the role of a widower who decides to get to know his grown-up children better after the death of his wife. He embarks on a road trip to visit each one in turn and finds that their lives are not as idyllic as he imagined.
Barrymore, Beckinsale and Rockwell are expected to play three of his children.
The movie begins shooting in Connecticut later this month.
