Justin Marks has been hired to write an adaptation of Tim Seeley and Stefano Caselli's horror comic Hack/Slash for Rogue Pictures, The Hollywood Reporter says.
The comic series is based around Cassie Hack, a woman who travels through small-town America hunting down serial killers similar to Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger. She is aided by Vlad, a disfigured man who wears a gas mask.
Music video helmer Todd Lincoln will make his feature debut on the project. Megan Fox is reportedly interested in playing the lead role.
Marks has previously worked on a script for a new He-Man film and the upcoming Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li.
