Sevigny, Deschanel enter 'Divorce Ranch'

Chloe Sevigny and Zooey Deschanel have signed to star in new indie comedy Divorce Ranch.

The film takes place in post-World War II Nevada, where couples could secure a quickie divorce after taking up residency.

Sevigny will play an actress who arrives at the ranch with her six-year-old son in a bid to hook up with a rich man. Deschanel (Bridge to Terabithia) will star as her assistant.

The movie will be co-produced, written and directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg (Waiting For Godot).

Shooting is scheduled to begin in September.
