DeVito joins cast of rom-com 'When In Rome'

Danny DeVito has signed to play a supporting role in romantic comedy When In Rome.

The Disney movie stars Kristen Bell as a single curator who is pursued to New York by aggressive suitors after stealing magic coins from Rome's Trevi Fountain.

DeVito will play one of the men who sets out to woo her, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Mark Steven Johnson will direct the film, which also stars Will Arnett, Josh Duhamel, Jon Heder, Anjelica Huston and Dax Shepard.

Shooting begins in New York later this month.
