'Spiderwick' retains Aus box office crown

The children's fantasy film experienced a 28% drop in takings but was still able to beat off competition from new entries Superhero Movie and Prom Night.
Nim's Island climbed two places to number four after the film was rolled out into more theatres across the country.
The only other new entry in the top ten, U2 3D, came in at number nine.
