Regency buys Turner's 'Down River'

Regency has bought Sheldon Turner's pitch for Down River, an adventure thriller set in the Amazon.
The story follows four successful businessmen who decide to go on a real adventure trip instead of a luxury holiday where participants pretend to live rough. Things start to go wrong when a tour guide is killed and the four friends are left to fight off wildlife and tribesmen alone.
Writer Turner took inspiration after hearing about studio executives talking about annual outdoor trips that ended with them sleeping in expensive lodgings.
Turner wrote the recent Amityville Horror remake and also worked on the X-Men spinoff Magneto.
