Deep Space Nine star Nana Visitor is the latest cast member to sign up for the new Friday the 13th movie.
The actress, who played Major Kira Nerys in the Star Trek franchise, will take the role of Jason's mum Mrs Voorhees, reports ESplatter. However, it is rumoured that she will not have a major part.
Danielle Panabaker, Jared Padalecki, Jonathan Sadowski, Travis van Winkle, Aaron Yoo and Derek Mears are already attached to the Platinum Dunes project.
Producer Brad Fuller recently laughed off rumours that the movie will not be rated R.
