Rick Astley has revealed that he is writing a musical movie.

The '80s popstar, who will headline the upcoming 'Here And Now' tour, said he is working on a new project.

He told GMTV: "I've written a musical movie - I've done the songs and co-written the script.

"It was great creating something which won't have me as the face - I can't say what it's about but it's something in development."

Astley recently claimed that he thinks the 'Rickrolling' internet craze is "brilliant".
