Recent reports suggested the actor had disagreed with Leterrier and Marvel Studios executives over the direction the film should take.
However, Leterrier dismissed the rumours, saying: "I haven't had an argument with Edward and I've been working with him for a year. Those kind of discussions happen all the time on films. They just don't usually happen with someone as famous as Edward Norton."
The Incredible Hulk is scheduled to hit UK cinemas in June.
