Jason Segel has revealed that he has written a role for Charles Grodin in the upcoming Muppets movie.
The writer and actor told MTV that he is eager to get Grodin, who starred in 1981's The Great Muppet Caper, to appear in the new film.
"I have a cameo for Charles Grodin in it. It's a really brilliant cameo, I must say. I'm really proud of it," Segel said.
Grodin has also appeared in Midnight Run and the Beethoven series. The 73-year-old has featured in only three films over the past 15 years, the most recent of which was the Zach Braff comedy Fast Track.
