'Buck Rogers' movie in the pipeline

A big screen adaptation of Buck Rogers is in the works.
Nu Image/Millennium Films has acquired the film rights to the franchise about a US Army pilot who wakes up in the 25th century, according to Variety.
The studio will make a live-action movie, with Sin City director Frank Miller one of the names in line to take the helm.
Buck Rogers has appeared in comic strips, movies, radio shows and TV series since making his debut in two novellas by Philip Francis Nowlan in 1928.
