Winstead in talks for 'Scott Pilgrim'

Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in talks to join Michael Cera in the cast of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The comic adaptation revolves around wannabe-rockstar Pilgrim (Cera), who discovers he can only win the heart of his dream girl Ramona V. Flowers (Winstead) by defeating her seven ex-boyfriends.

Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz) will direct from a script he co-wrote with Michael Bacall. The original comic was written and drawn by Bryan Lee O'Malley.

Winstead starred as John McClane's daughter in last year's Die Hard 4.0. She has also appeared in Death Proof and Final Destination 3.
