Thomas Sangster lands 'TinTin' role?

British teenager Thomas Sangster will play the lead role in the TinTin movie, say reports.

According to the Daily Mail, the 17-year-old has been cast in Stephen Spielberg and Peter Jackson's adaptation of the popular comic book series.

Sangster's film credits include Love Actually, Nanny McPhee and Bright Star.

Lord of the Rings actor Andy Serkis recently confirmed that he would play Captain Haddock in the film.

He also claimed that the project would be split in two, with Spielberg helming the first picture and Jackson directing the second.
