Anderson exhausted by 'X-Files' shoot
Gillian Anderson has revealed that she was frequently exhausted on the set of the new X-Files movie.

The actress reunited with co-star David Duchovny and creator Chris Carter to film the second big screen spinoff of the sci-fi TV series in March.

She told Radio 1 that Duchovny was fit and healthy during the shoot due to his experience playing a womanising writer on US show Californication.

The 39-year-old said: "It was hard work. I'm too old. David is in the best shape of his life because he had to bonk people every two minutes for Californication. He did most of the work.

"He's climbing and jumping off cliffs. I didn't do any of that and I was more exhausted by the end of it than he was. I'm a wimp."

The X-Files: I Want To Believe is released on August 1.
