Marvel bringing 'Runaways' to the screen

Brian K. Vaughan's Marvel comic book series Runaways will get a film adaptation, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Created by Vaughan in 2002 with artist Adrian Alphona, the series focuses on several superpowered teenagers who run away from home after discovering their parents were super-villains. After Vaughan left the series to work on TV series Lost, Joss Whedon took over writing duties on the title.
Marvel's Kevin Feige will produce the film with Vaughan writing the screenplay.
The studio recently confirmed release dates for upcoming superhero films Captain America, Thor and The Avengers.
