DreamWorks tells 'Ancient History'
Published Friday, May 30 2008, 08:06 BST | By Simon Reynolds
DreamWorks is reviving plans to make Ancient History, an action adventure script that has spent years in development, The Hollywood Reporter says.
The film will focus on a man who gets himself jailed so that he can search for treasure buried in the high-security compound.
Dario Scardapane, who has worked on scripts for Peter Berg (a remake of The Mission) and James Cameron (Fantastic Voyage), will make revisions to a previous draft, bringing the story into the present day.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura (Transformers) will act as producer on Ancient History.
