Howard in talks for 'Terminator'

Bryce Dallas Howard is in discussions to replace Charlotte Gainsbourg in Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins.

Gainsbourg joined the cast last month as Kate Connor, the wife of Christian Bale's freedom fighter John Connor. She was forced to drop out of the sci-fi action film due to a scheduling conflict with an upcoming French comedy.

Should the actors strike go ahead, Terminator would shut down and resume at a later date, meaning a potential clash with Gainsbourg's French film.

Howard has previously appeared in Spider-Man 3, The Village and Lady In The Water.

Terminator is currently shooting in New Mexico under the direction of Charlie’s Angels helmer McG.
