An official from the event reportedly told China Daily that Stone "is not among the list of guests to be invited" following her remarks about "karma" causing the recent earthquake in China.
Stone suggested that the disaster happened because of China's treatment of Tibet and the Dalai Lama, saying: "All this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"
Fashion house Christian Dior later dropped the 50-year-old from their advertising campaigns in China.
