Kruger to star in 'Run For Her Life'

Diane Kruger has signed to play the female lead in indie thriller Run For Her Life.

The National Treasure actress will star with Dermot Mulroney as a couple who head to Mexico to secure a lung transplant for their dying daughter.

However, they face an ethical dilemma when they discover that the organs were not taken from willing donors.

The film, to be helmed by Icelandic director Baltasar Kormakur, will shoot in New Mexico.

Kruger recently admitted that her breakthrough movie Troy "kind of sucked".
