Daniel Craig injured on Bond set

Daniel Craig has sliced off the tip of his finger on the set of new Bond movie Quantum Of Solace.

The actor was treated in hospital after the accident, which happened as he was shooting an action sequence at Pinewood Studios.

The injury comes just a week after he required eight stitches for a cut to his face.

A member of the film's production team said: "There was quite a lot of blood and it was decided he needed to go to hospital for emergency treatment.

"Some people are beginning to believe the film is jinxed."

A fire at Pinewood caused damaged one of the movie's outdoor sets last weekend, while two stunt drivers were injured in car accidents in Italy in April.
