Paul Potts movie plans shelved

The film, which had the working title One Chance, was supposed to be produced by Cowell. Last October, director Julian Jarrold was linked to the movie, which would tell the life story of the Welsh mobile phone salesman turned opera singer.
However, according to The Sun, the studio has ditched the project after stalling over casting the lead actor.
Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn, who was apparently involved in producing the film, said: "It should have gone ahead. Simon and I had a good vision for how the film should be, and it would have been brilliant.
"But the studios were umm-ing and ahh-ing and they missed the opportunity to do it. It's tragic, because the script was brilliant. Simon had done a great job. I was looking forward to working with him and it would have been a big hit."
