Paul Potts biopic 'One Chance' filming wraps

Filming has wrapped on Paul Potts biopic One Chance.

The David Frankel-directed film stars James Corden in the lead role shot for seven weeks in the UK and Italy before filming was completed on Friday, November 30.

Corden said: "It has been fantastic to work with David Frankel and Harvey Weinstein on One Chance.

"The film is an inspiring and uplifting tale and I hope Paul agrees that we have brought his story justice."

Frankel added: "I couldn't be more thrilled to have shot such a sweet and funny story with such an extraordinary cast led by the phenomenal James Corden."

Harvey Weinstein said: "I am incredibly happy to be a part of this project.

Potts was a shop assistant and amateur opera singer who shot to fame after winning the first series of Britain's Got Talent in 2007.

Joining Corden in the film are Julie Walters, Mackenzie Crook, Colm Meaney, Jemima Rooper and Alexandra Roach, while Simon Cowell may have a cameo.
