The beloved British show, which has already been turned into a US series by MTV, will be adapted for the big screen by original creator Iain Morris, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Deadline, meanwhile, reports that Morris will direct the film, with co-creator Damon Beesley also writing the script.
The road trip movie will reportedly be "inspired by" the series rather than directly based on it, and will follow four suburban teenagers who celebrate their graduation from high school with an exotic holiday.
The UK film adaptation, The Inbetweeners Movie, will be released in the US on September 7.
