Mark Wright 'lands first film role opposite Kelly Brook, Danny Dyer'

Mark Wright has reportedly landed the opportunity to play Kelly Brook's love interest in a British gangster movie.

The former Only Way Is Essex star will also appear alongside Danny Dyer and Layer Cake actor Tamar Hassan in the project, according to The Sun.



"Mark is keen to get into acting and Cockney gangster films are right up his street," a source told the publication.

"He loves The Business and Football Factory, so it's a dream for him to work with Danny and Tamar. Add Kelly into the mix, he's made up."

Reports that Wright is hoping to launch an acting career began circulating ahead of his TOWIE departure last October.

Insiders claimed in January that he is planning to ditch his Essex accent in a bid to crack Hollywood.
