'Glee', 'Melrose' stars for 'Monte Carlo'

Glee's Cory Monteith and Melrose Place's Katie Cassidy have signed to co-star with Selena Gomez in Monte Carlo.

Andie MacDowell has also boarded the upcoming teen comedy movie, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The film is based on Jules Bass's young adult novel Headhunters and centres on a girl (Gomez) who is mistaken for a wealthy socialite.

The story also involves the teen and her friends flying to Monte Carlo and working to recover a missing million dollar necklace.

Monteith will play Gomez's jock boyfriend and Cassidy will portray one of her friends.

The project, produced by Nicole Kidman and Rick Schwartz, shoots this spring in Nice, Paris and Budapest.
