'True Blood's Stephen Moyer joins horror 'The Barrens'

The movie is a monster film from Darren Lynn Bousman, who has previously directed three of the Saw pictures.
The British True Blood star will battle the Jersey Devil, a dragon-like monster that troubles the residents of New Jersey, according to Variety.
Moyer will play a man who goes camping with his family in New Jersey's Pine Barrens, before discovering that they are being hunted by the creature.
Bousman revealed that he wanted to tackle the legend of the Jersey Devil in a different way, saying: "I don't want to turn it into a cheesy creature feature.
"It's about the characters for me, and having watched Stephen for years on True Blood, I have no doubt he's the right leading man."
Moyer recently claimed that production on the indie film The Caller was "cursed".
