If you've been living under a rock this past week you may have missed David Tennant regenerating into Matt Smith in Doctor Who. Smith was a virtual unknown when he won the role of the 11th Doctor last year, but the British actor almost made it to the big screen before that playing the younger version of Ralph Fiennes's hitman Harry in 2008's excellent crime thriller In Bruges.
