The Wuthering Heights star told Digital Spy that although she would love to play Effy Stonem again, the time for a Skins film with the original cast may have passed.
"It was supposed to happen, we were all signed up for it and it kind of disappeared," Scodelario said of the proposed film spinoff, which was being penned by creator Bryan Elsley and The Scouting Book for Boys writer Jack Thorne.
She added: "It's been almost two years since we finished that series and I feel like people have moved on and they're into the new characters now and that's what they want to see.
"I really would love it to happen because it would be great to film with everyone again. I know we'd all do it, it just depends if it happens or not."
Asked what she thought Effy would be doing now, Scodelario replied: "I think she'd be in a crack den somewhere! I'd like to think that she fixed up, I'd like to think that she got with Cook (Jack O'Connell) and they had nice little babies and they're really happy but I doubt very much that's what happened!"
