A gay old time

Our big screen viewing began yesterday with a screening of the outrageously queer and horrendously funny Another Gay Movie. You can read Dan's thoughts on that here; keep your eyes peeled for more on that here in the days ahead.

The festival proper kicks off tonight with the premiere of United 93, a movie about the hijacked 9/11 flight that crashed in Pennsylvania after the passengers revolted. This is apparently setting the tone for a more "reflective" Tribeca this year - the Festival's fifth - a sentiment that will be echoed in several pieces in the next fortnight.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) you can check out the first review of Saint Of 9/11, voiced by Sir Ian McKellen. Plus we'll have news from the premieres of Farewell Bender (Eddie Kaye Thomas) and Fifty Pills (Kristen Bell).

Oh, and do check out our new - work in progress - video content!
