Day 3, 11.13am. Neil is in the lounge.

Day three here in Tribeca and after another bleary, hour-long subway journey I'm sitting in the industry lounge supping a Chinese green tea (it was that or a Starbucks coffee - where's the PG when you want it?)

Dan is currently next door at a screening of Saint of 9/11 - read his review of that later - while here in the lounge, Jeff Garlin (Curb Your Enthusiasm) is over in the corner girning horrendously as he poses for a photograph.

I think I'm alarming some of the lounge staff here - they're all student volunteers, who do a wonderful and thankless job - as I've taken up official residence between the hours of 10 and 6. Next year I'm demanding my own desk.

Later today we're off to some red carpets, including the exclusive Vanity Fair party. Naturally there is a pecking order here, and let's just say we're closer to the bottom of the pile than the top - the "scum" of the press pack, as I've taken to calling it. Hopefully though we'll get some good video content from the carpets so look out for that early tomorrow on DS.

We're also heading down to the Empire State Building, which is apparently being bathed in the colours of the festival to mark the launch - again, keep your eyes peeled for that visual treat.

Also, do send in your festival feedback and questions to us at tribeca@digitalspy.co.uk; if I can muster the energy I'll feature your comments in one of our upcoming video clips.
