McFly have reportedly signed a promotional deal with McDonald's.

According to The Sun, the pop group have delayed the release of their new album Radio:Active to work with the fast food chain.

The LP was scheduled for release in June, but is now expected to come out in September.

"It was all systems go for a summer release," said a source. "Promotional schedules had been drawn up and an elaborate launch strategy was put in place.

"However, everything hit the buffers as soon as McDonald’s expressed an interest in a unique partnership."

The boyband's deal with the firm allegedly includes their image being placed on McDonald's products around its 1,250 UK outlets.
