This was one of the best and most entertaining reviews I have ever read. I am an avid fan of dance music, but this album is exactly what it says here. I don't know how Jonas can have any respect for himself as a musician after producing what is essentially one song, with chord (well, bass) progressions slightly changed. The same goes for the melodies, which only have one saving grace, they aren't as bad as Basshunter's video clips. By the next single, it will just be a 4 minute shot of breasts - sorry, it will be 5 seconds of Jonas' face, where he screams "Are you ready?", followed by 3 minutes and 56 seconds of breasts. Excellent (and accurate) review, horrible album.

I absolutely love this album... i can't believe that there are so many people that don't like it... but then again music tastes do vary. The songs on this album, yeah most do sound the same, but thats likes saying most albums have the same type of music on them. Best track on the album is "I Miss You".

Terrible, TERRIBLE music The only people who enjoy this are retarded chavs But I will give him two stars because he has helped to easily point out the retards of this world because they will be listening to his music

Uninspired rubbish, try some decent dance music like Leftfield

I listened to it, and at first it didn't seem that good to me. Then I listened to it a second time and realized that once you get past the phrases it's actually quite good. Or, at least I found it so. But to all you people saying this album is s**t. Most of you are from the UK, where this album topped the charts. So by saying everyone who listens to this is a chav. You are, in extension, calling your people chavs too. But, everyone is entitled to their opinion, no matter how godawful or biased it is.
mr. y on November 23rd, 2008
lmao at people shouting chavs. for they havent bothered to check wiki which says this album is No. 1 in UK. So this means UK is full of chavs.. hmm yeah.. i guess :)

It Rocks !!!!!!!!!!!!! x

who the hell is this person to comment about this kind of music? ok maybe you're some rock n roll or cowboy yank or whatever you should be, but that doesn't make you talk s*** about euro music. you won't be surprised by how ridiculous country music sounds in europe. so keep smoking dude.

The person who wrote this review just doesn't seem to like dance that well. The album is actually quite good, epecially considering 400,000+ copies were sold of a single. The song "I Can Walk on Water" is a great example of a great dance song, for one. If someone who wasn't seemingly biased against against this genre wrote this review, it wouldn't get such an inaccurate review. A 1/5 album wouldn't top the British charts a #1. *I* would give the album at least a 3.8.

Well I quite like some dance music but his is absolutely atrocious and so have to completely agree with the reviewer. Also, the people who call anyone "dumb" should get their own facts straight. If you read the review correctly you will see that "Please Don't Go" is the KC and the Sunshine Band cover not "Love You More". How embarrasing for you...

I can't believe this guy gets big downloads, his music is bloody awful. He sounds so annoyingly artificial, this is NOT dance music.
Ian, London on September 23rd, 2008
This is not dance music, in any way, shape or form. Unless what you call how chavs move, dancing. It ain't sexy, and it ain't clever. rave beats that sounded dated 15 years ago with a generic blonde bird singing nonsense. Get some class people. Long live real House Music.
Jim, London on August 1st, 2008
you can just picture it, chavs listening to this cr*p on their cheap mp3 players hanging round street corners.
Steve, York on July 25th, 2008
Here Here, more decent music less of this inane dance cr*p only listened to by morons with the intellectual capacity of a peanut, otherwise known as chavs!!
Liam, Newcastle on July 24th, 2008
Another example that their are more chavas with no taste in music wanting to look hard infront of their friends then there are decent people with good taste. Its dj dance so its rubbish. Its the same with scooter. Their is no talent in this. The fact it reached number one suggests their are some idiots in this country as alot of rubbish hits number one. I am a drummer so I know good songs from bad songs and this is a terrible song. Bands people should listen to, red hot chili peppers, bon jovi, backstreet boys, foo fighters, one republic, nickelback, r.e.m.
Christian, Blackpool on July 23rd, 2008
This review is just completely biased. Evidently the reviewer just hates dance music.
James, worcester on July 22nd, 2008
i wouldnt even call it dance music. iam a dance music fan myself... i dont listren to rock indie etc but what basshunter does is destroy dance music. its europop for lil kids dance music is what you get at global gathering, creamfields etc and clubs in london and up north. please ban this album
Iann London on July 22nd, 2008
This type of nonsense sounded dated 10 years ago. Absolutely horrible, awful stuff that is an embarrasment to good dance music. Please, make it stop. Where's the option for minus scores?
Dan, Cork on July 22nd, 2008
Mr Blobby, Bob the Builder, and Gareth Gates have had number 1's that doens't mean that they any good.. This music is what it is euro pop, not to taken so seriously
David, Swansea on July 22nd, 2008
I really don't understand how such drivel can sell so many copies! You must be hard of hearing if you think that the first two releases from this cr*p album sound different!
John , Newcastle on July 22nd, 2008
The Review is spot on , im not sure about the guy out Basshunter having Tourettes but it certainly gave me it when I head the misfortune to hear this at work the other day . People who like and buy this kind of music must have dog sh** in there ears.
James, Hayle on July 22nd, 2008
Brilliant Album, Well worth £10. Keep It Up Basshunter.
Gavin, Edinburgh on July 22nd, 2008
Typical derivative 'review'. Along with the fact that 'Love you More' is a Starscream cover (as well as Steps),it's actually the female that sings "You can make the seeds infertile, but you know you can never make me love you more". Was this copy and pasted from elsewhere without even listening to it? Taken as I believe its intention, all tracks were composed to be floor fillers and if each time that Basshunter has been in Edinburgh is anything to go by then it has achieved that goal extremely well.
Laura, Ayr on July 22nd, 2008
This is just a typical review by someone with no taste. It can't be that cr*p if it's hit the No1 spot in the album charts. This album is great - and I am not a moronic chav!!! I especially love "I can walk on Water" and "Privjet Russia".
Nick, Maidstone on July 22nd, 2008
Reviewer - You do know that Love You More is a Sunscreem cover don't you? Why don't you check your facts before writing such a dumb statement. Is there anyone on DS who actually likes euro music who could maybe do the reviews?
Noel, Athlone on July 22nd, 2008
Great review, spot on, wish the radio and "music" tv stations would take note and stop playing this rubbish, leave him in his bedsit with his computer, real music rules.
Alan, Cork on July 22nd, 2008
Now, having finally listened to the album (maybe you should do the same, Steve from York eh??), it's quite good. Not quite up to the standards of say, Amy Winehouse, but quite good!!
Davey, Glasgow on July 21st, 2008
Get off your high horse. I'm sick of this 'it's dance music, therfore it's cr*p' attitude. This album is great and the addition of the Swedish versions of NYG and AIEW is perfect, as I've been listening to DoTA for months and now the rest of the UK can see how catchy (like the album) it is! P.S. I rate the review 1 but the album 5
Steve, York on July 21st, 2008
No it just means there are alot of moronic chavs out there who like this crap!!!
Alan, Cork on July 17th, 2008
What is it with Digital Spy? I have NEVER seen a dance song or album with a good review. His music must be good if its selling 400,000+ copies!
