Katy Perry spends her third week at number one on the Australian singles chart.

The American singer held off competition from The Pussycat Dolls and Jordin Sparks to retain the top berth.

Elsewhere, Australian popstar Sam Sparro climbed to fourth, while Hannah Montana actress Miley Cyrus held on to sixth spot.
