Leon Jackson has become the first X Factor champion not to debut at number one on the UK albums chart.

His debut disc, Right Now, lands in fourth position this week - behind albums by AC/DC, Kaiser Chiefs and Kings of Leon.

First efforts by Jackson's predecessors as X Factor champion - Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward and Leona Lewis - all reached the top in their week of release.

Veteran rock band AC/DC claim the number one spot with Black Ice, their first album in eight years, while Kaiser Chiefs land at two with Off With Their Heads.

Meanwhile, Sugababes have to settle for a number eight debut with Catfights and Spotlights. Their last LP, Change, debuted at number one in October 2007.

Albums by Welsh opera singer Katherine Jenkins and German dance collective Sash! also debut inside the top ten this week.
