Alesha Dixon is to perform in front of a Miss World audience of an estimated two billion people thanks to Bruce Forsyth.
The 'Boy Does Nothing' singer dubbed the Strictly Come Dancing presenter her "guardian angel" in the Daily Star.
Dixon, who was crowned the champion of the BBC dancing competition last year, wrote of her recent return to the show: "All the producers, judges and dancers were like proud parents. It was like going home. And lovely Bruce Forsyth, 80, is still looking out for me like a guardian angel.
"He's arranged for me to perform live on Miss World next month in front of an audience of two billion people."
The beauty competition is scheduled to take place in Johannesburg on December 13.
Dixon, formerly of Mis-Teeq, described her new LP The Alesha Show as a "musical diary of my life over the past couple of years". The album is due for release on November 24.
