Kanye West has suggested that the recent US and European MTV awards were fixed.
The rapper made the claims at the launch of his new album, saying that he only won the award for 'Ultimate Urban' at the EMAs after agreeing to turn up to the event in Liverpool.
West voiced his disappointment over other winning acts at the awards ceremony. "Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious?" he told The Sun.
"I mean f****ing Jared Leto? He's my boy but he shouldn't have won over some of those other artists.
"I won nothing last year and I’d brought out 'Stronger', then this year, just because I was there, I won best urban act. This was L’il Wayne’s year.”
Kanye's forthcoming album, 808s & Heartbreak, is released on Novermber 24.
