Apple has announced that it is changing the pricing structures for music downloads.
The US technology giant will introduce a three-tier system on its iTunes Store that will see some prices drop by 20p.
The new pricing will see tracks sold for either 99p, the current price of 79p or a reduced 59p, depending on how much record labels charge.
Apple also announced that all its 10 million tracks will be free from digital-rights management by March, making songs more compatible with different music devices.
Apple and Amazon recently started a price war, selling some albums for just £3.
