The Crazy Frog has apparently decided that it is time to give it a rest and will be releasing no more UK singles.

"The Annoying Thing" as it has been marketed is apparently "fast becoming a has been" and is off to try its luck overseas.

A source said: "The Crazy Frog probably won't be releasing any more singles. They know he was just a one hit wonder scheme, I don't think they ever imagined an album would follow.

"But now the fad has passed and they are looking into new areas and it could mean the end to other animal characters as well."
