Noel Gallagher to release solo album

Noel Gallagher has revealed that he will definitely be releasing a solo album some time in the near future.

The Oasis guitarist and vocalist says that he wants to release some solo material before he looks like Phil Collins.

According to Gigwise, he said: "I'll do one (a solo album) eventually as life's too short and none of us are getting any younger. I'd like to make one while I still look good.

"It's nothing to do with Liam. I've got the songs - I could do four solo albums."
