Mick Jagger has revealed that The Rolling Stones would have played Glastonbury, if only they been asked.
The legendary frontman expressed his disappointment whilst speaking on the band's webcast on their official website.
He said: "Glastonbury would have been a good one, but I was never really offered the Glastonbury Festival to do this year, but the Isle of Wight was offered, so that is why I decided to do it."
Jagger also wished his friend Paul McCartney good luck with his new record label, saying: "I actually met all the Starbucks people when I went to Seattle...they told me they were starting an actual label, but I never heard anything more about it.
"So after a hundred years with EMI he [McCartney] has now signed up to Starbucks, so good luck to him."
