He won the X Factor, released a successful first album and single but then Shayne Ward seemed to disappear into oblivion. But if you'd given up hope on seeing him release any new material then you can rest assured, because you're about to hear his second attempt to win over fans.

Shayne's got a tough job ahead of him to prove he can make good pop music, especially as everyone has been waiting so long to hear what he's made of. Happily, with the first single from his second album, 'If That's Okay With You', he moves away from the boring ballads that featured heavily on his first LP and goes for a more upbeat number. The song is a chirpy pop track that isn't awe-inspiring but it's catchy and is sure to get his die hard fans reaching for the shelves. His voice is a bit too high-pitched in places but the backing beats and underlying tune glide him through.

Overall it's a nice pop number that's a good attempt at starting Ward's comeback. Although a lot of girls will like his sexy look in the accompanying video, just be warned he's not quite mastered the dance moves just yet.
