Jay-Z has rubbished reports that he is planning to quit the Def Jam music label when his contract expires.
The rapper was rumoured to be thinking of switching to rival company Columbia Records but he has insisted this is not the case.
Jay-Z told Billboard of Columbia: "My three-year contract is up soon... I guess Rick Rubin is (there) and we've got a relationship.
"But I haven't talked to Rick since he started at Columbia. I called him to say congratulations. But I've learned to leave the possibility open. Sometimes rumours spark real things."
