A Streets gig at the Ibiza Rocks festival had to be canceled after police cordoned off the venue just before singer Mike Skinner was about to hit the stage.
Skinner was scheduled to play a DJ set at Manumission's Bar M on Monday night, before the intervention from the local authorities forced the event to be called off.
Speaking about the incident on his MySpace, the singer said: "Absolutely gutted tonight. Went to sound check, everything sounded good, ate some Nados, went back for a shower and then heard the police had shut down the stage!
"They put tape around the whole thing and said if anyone goes on they get arrested."
The 'Dry Your Eyes' star admitted that his summer tour of the White Isle hadn't been the most successful.
He wrote: "Ibiza has been well F****d up this year. Manumission at Amnesia, crap weather, Bora Bora closed, DC 10 closed. We also nearly got thrown out of our villa as well this morning coz the cleaner came in and noticed that there are 25 people living in it and we're only supposed to have 12.
"Honestly, this island with its rules and regulations."
The Streets are scheduled to play at Get Loaded In The Park at Clapham Common later in the month. It was revealed yesterday that Skinner would like one fan of the group to join him on stage for the show with a homemade bong.
