Nelson Mandela has announced a concert in Johannesburg, South Africa, to fund-raise for his 46664 AIDS charity.
Organisers predict they will get 50,000 visitors to the show in Ellis Park, with ticket prices starting at $17.50.
The former South African president revealed today that the event would take place on World AIDS Day, December 1, although no bands have yet been named for the gig.
The charity has held similar events in Norway, Spain and South Africa, while it was announced in August that Brian May and Roger Taylor would play a show for Mandela next year to mark his 90th birthday and to support the appeal.
Mandela said: "Today, we are happy to announce that 46664 will stage a similar concert here in Johannesburg on December 1 on World AIDS Day."
The money raised by the concert will help provide money for HIV/AIDS awareness programs within South Africa.
